One of Caryl Churchill's early dark comedies, the Orton-esque OWNERS is a savagely funny examination of private property, space, class and urban life. Marion is a successful real estate saleswoman, who is trying to remove a family (which includes Alec, her former lover) from its flat. When Alec and his wife refuse to leave their home, Marion decides to repossess something else  the couple's infant.
